The Pentair 520588 IntelliChlor Dummy Pass-Through Cell for Winterization is a pool dummy cell for the IntelliChlor salt chlorinator system. The IntelliChlor system uses salt in the pool water to produce chlorine levels for sanitation. During the winter and cold months, the IntelliChlor cannot produce chlorine due to the water temperature. The Pentair dummy cell is used as a placeholder for the IntelliChlor salt cell.
