Just moving through the water by swimming is great exercise because it is added resistance, less pressure on your joints and muscles, burns more calories and you’ll stay cool and comfy on those sweltering hot days.

Doing jumping jacks in the shallow end of the pool is also a great exercise, and something anyone can do because you’re much lighter in water.
