Does Your Pool Water Look Bad?
Unless you want your pool to be an oasis for the Creature from the Black Lagoon – and nobody wants that – making sure your pool’s filtration system and filter cartridges are trouble-free are two of the most important things you can do.
You’ve added the right amount of chlorine, you’ve shocked your pool, you’ve tested the water multiple times, but still have that murky, nasty green water.
No problem.
While we can’t promise to rid your pool of any scary creatures, we here at AcePools.com can point you in the right direction when it comes to making your swimming pool water the envy of the neighborhood once again.
Say you have a filtration system that takes four filter cartridges. Filter cartridges can be cleaned and re-used but only for a matter of time. If you’ve been using the same filter cartridges for more than one season, it’s time to change them out.
If you need four Filbur FC-0687 filter cartridges, we even have a more economical alternative than purchasing the pricey OEM filter. Instead, we suggest ordering four or how many you think you’ll need of the Filbur FC-0687 Pool & Spa Filter Cartridge - R173216, C-9415, PAP150-4/M4 by FiltersFast. Less expensive than the OEM, this filter uses genuine Reemay filter media composed of spunbond polyester which is resistant to fraying and unraveling and won’t react to common pool or spa chemicals.
After changing out you filter cartridges if you still are having issues, you may want to consider replacing your water cartridge filter system. We highly recommend the Waterway Clearwater line of water cartridge filter systems. For pool owners on a budget, you can’t go wrong with the affordable Waterway TWM 50 Sq. Ft. Filter Cartridge System.
AcePools.com also carries sand filter and DE filter systems, which are more expensive than traditional filter cartridge filters, but do an exceptional job on larger pools.
